Jennifer Lopez in another pregancy-related film after The Back-up Plan. Oops. While that film had Alex O’Loughlin’s gratuitous abs, we are treated to Matthew Morrison and Joe Manganiello over here.

It’s much more hilarious here because those Daddy-Nannies are so weird. Super prams! And it’s so cool that they have a cool and hot friend in Manganiello – OMG I’M TOTALLY LOOKING FORWARD TO WATCHING HIM AND OTHER HOT MEN IN MAGIC MIKE!

The women add in a dash of reality – though some more than others. Just look at Elizabeth Banks and Brooklyn Decker. I’m not sure if anyone dares to walk in six-inch heels whilst pregnant though I guess supermodels belong to a completely different species.

Most relate-able would be the couple played by Anna Kendrick and Chace Crawford. They are so young and cute together! And it’s always good to see Chace Crawford outside of Gossip Girl – his role as Nate Archibald is practically a pretty vase in the series these days. He should stick to playing characters without trust funds, like in here, where he actually does more than just smile and make out with cougars.

I had no idea why I wanted to watch The Back-Up Plan, maybe it’s because of the lead actor Alex O’Loughlin? 99.99% it is.

Anyway, it’s about Zoe (Jennifer Lopez), who gets artificially inseminated and then meets her dream guy (Alex O’Loughlin). The way the story plays out is all kinda cliché. I mean, you can tell it just by looking at the poster. The ending is nice, but you can tell it’s all fiction.

The funny part would be in the park, where this guy’s kid was eating sand and picking up someone’s shit from the park to show to his daddy. “Hey Daddy, see what I found!” And Zoe’s single mothers’ support group is out-of-this-world, and the birthing part was (speechless).

Oh by the way, Alex O’Loughlin is the same guy that appeared in Criminal Minds S04E22! The stuff-your-bullet-wound-with-bread guy!
